- In the beginning…
God created and he said:
“Thou ART”

- And when we take a moment to listen:
“we hear those primal warblings, and attempt to write them down”

“words are also actions, and actions…a kind of words”
- “every word was once a poem”

“each word was at first a stroke of genius”
Teaching
“Because for the moment it symbolized the world to the first speaker and hearer”

- “Every new relation is a new word”
teacher student=education
- It is a belief that:
“Man is only half himself, the other half is his expression”
but
“All things are one”
and
“By God, it is in me, and must go forth of me”
- Now I stand here, balked and dumb, stuttering and stammering, hissed and hooted.
I stand and I strive, until at last, rage draws out out of me that dream-power:
